  • Serve as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for denominational offices in Southern California, which oversees 430 churches and 1400 ministers
  • Oversee a yearly budget of over $2 million, and an investment portfolio of $25 million
  • Serve as Corporate Secretary for the corporation
  • Serve as Office Manager, Personnel Director and Human Resources Administrator
  • Oversee and represent legal liabilities in all District matters
  • Give oversight and direction to the SoCal School Of Ministry and all of its extensions
  • Responsible for the updating and maintaining of the ministerial and church files
  • Give administrative oversight for all things relating to Ministerial Credentials
  • Oversee all insurance matters for the District and its corporate subsidiaries
  • Give oversight for all District Events and serve as Event Coordinator

    • Pinecrest Christian Conference Center
    • Media and Technology issues related to the SoCal Network
  • Active field ministry including the helping of pastors, boards, and churches maintain good accounting systems, proper corporate documents, files and proper insurance protection
  • Participate in preaching ministry as assigned or requested
  • Preside over business meetings for local churches and board meetings as requested or assigned
  • Participate in out-of-district ministry as requested, including mission trips and General Council assignments
  • Serve as the chair of the Executive Committee of Teen Challenge

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

LEAD PASTOR, SAN JACINTO ASSEMBLY 1990-2008

  • Attendance increased from 150 to over 1,400, with a staff and paid employees of over 40 people
  • Church budget went from $60,000.00 a year to over $2,000,000.000 a year
  • Developed Higher Calling Ministry Institute (HCMI), a two-year school of ministry / internship program that developed future ministers moving them toward ministerial credentials
  • Designed and ran the financial “G.O.D.” (Get Out of Debt) program. This program paid off the consumer debt of about 40+families within our congregation and included a financial management course taught on how to stay free of debt and build for the future. The program stopped after three years as there were no more families left in the program to service.
  • Designed the financial program for the “Single Mom Ministry,” which paid monthly child support to every single mom’s children within our congregation. At the time of my resignation, there were over 40 moms and almost 70 children receiving monthly aid.
  • Designed and ran the “Down Payment Program.” This financial program was developed for the purpose of paying the first mortgage payment for any church within the community that completed a renovation or building program, regardless of denomination. These payments ranged from roughly $10,000.00 to over $25,000.00. Church denominations assisted were: Assemblies of God, Praise Chapel, Evangelical Free, World Harvest, Non-Denominational

  • Designed, developed and was the CEO of “We Care San Jacinto”, a non-profit 501c3 that received and operated on federal, state and local grants, for the purpose of reaching the community. With a one million dollar budget, We Care San Jacinto is still in operation today.
  • Developed and taught “Maximum Impact Business Owners,” a monthly teaching and training group for business owners within the San Jacinto Valley. This monthly group had approximately 50 – 60 business owners a month in attendance.
