What Stops Our Prayers From Being Effective?

1.  Sin.

2.  Not asking.

3.  Wrong Motives.

4.  Lack of obedience.

5.  Doubt.

6.  Pride.

Some of the greatest opportunities of our life are missed because of pride.  Pride keeps us from the best things God has to offer.  Untie the knot in your lifeline by humbling yourself before God and give up your pride.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

The Point Is:  God loves to use humble people!

Prayer:   “Today, Lord, may I recognize that all the good things in my life are coming from You and not from what I’ve done alone.”
