Are you a Credentialed Woman?
As part of the SEEN Fall Retreats, the Network of Women Ministers is planning a leadership cohort designed especially for women ministers, pastors, missionaries, and those who are pursuing credentials! We will gather at one of the Women's Retreat weekends (Week 3 - English) at Pinecrest for training & networking in addition to the rest of the retreat activities.

Registration for the cohort runs June 20 - August 10th.

Whether you are coming on your own or with a large group, Pinecrest Christian Conference Center offers something for everyone. Condos tend to sell out quickly, and are available on a first-come-first-served basis, but Lodges and Bunkhouse spots are usually readily available. We require payment in full to secure your spot, and registration will remain open until sold out or one week before the event. There will not be on-site registration due the nature of the event, so register now!

Each condo is a 3-story chateau (stairs only) with a living room area and a loft area. Towels & bedding provided; Large Condo sleeps up to 10, assuming two women share a bed.

PineCrest has three, large, two-story alpine lodges. The lodges have individual rooms that contain one queen bed and four single beds in a bunkbed configuration. The rooms are carpeted and each have their own sink, mirror, and electrical outlets. There are two bathrooms located on each floor of the lodge. Must provide your own pillows, bedding, and towels.

Meet our Speakers:
Dr. Joy Qualls
Dr. Joy Qualls is a nationally recognized writer and speaker. Joy currently serves as Associate Dean in the Division of Communication at Biola University. Joy writes and speaks on effective communication, leadership, and who we are as images bearers of Christ. Joy has a passion for the local church and serving the body of Christ through teaching and consultation. Joy is married to Kevin (a Licensed Professional Counselor) and together they teach on healthy relationships including marriage and parenting. They are parents to Blakeley and Soren.
Joy is the author of "God Forgive Us For Being Women: Rhetoric, Theology and the Pentecostal Tradition" (Wipf and Stock, 2018) and is featured in several publications including Influence Magazine, The Table, and Biola Magazine as well as an author in several edited volumes. Joy has been the featured speaker for local church services and events as well as a sought after as a conference speaker and communication consultant. We are honored to host her as our main speaker at the Women of SoCal Fall Retreats on the English weekends.
Sandy Kazim
Soy hija de misioneros, nacida en Cuba, y he vivido en 7 países los cuales incluye Colombia, Costa Rica, Perú, Egipto, Estados Unidos y por los últimos 25 años, en México. Junto con mi esposo Paul Kazim hemos sido misioneros con las Asambleas de Dios por 32 años. Actualmente trabajamos en el centro de la república mexicana que aborda una población de 75 millones de habitantes, de los cuales más del 97% son inalcanzados.
Nuestro enfoque está en alcanzar al universitario, y preparar a personas para el ministerio. Tengo una maestría en Salud de La Familia y en Biblia. Soy madre a tres hijos, tengo dos nueras y una hermosa nietecita recién nacida. Los cinco sirven a Dios en sus carreras en el Sur de California.
